MASON COUNTY, Ky. (WKRC) - Allegations of sex acts with a child have landed a Mason County politician in jail.
Clarence Jefferson is charged with sodomy and sexual abuse. Deputies say the Dover councilman forced a 5-year-old to touch him and engage in sex acts.
Jefferson did not get re-elected earlier in November.
It's not clear whether he'll be forced out before this term ends.
